VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  An individual title and a big award highlighted the EDC wrestling tournament for the Hi-Liners.

Kolt Grebel won the title at 133 pounds to secure his third EDC title of his career.  Ethan Miller, after finishing runner-up at 160, was named EDC Senior Athlete of the Year, the second year in a row a Hi-Liner has taken that honor.

Ryer Muske (5th at 172), Owen Hunt (5th at HWT), Jayden Suhr (6th at 145) and Quincy Corbin (8th at 139) rounded out state qualifiers for the Hi-Liner boys.

Mylee Christianson led the Hi-Liner girls, finishing second overall.  Other qualifiers included Victoria Sanchez (4th at 112), Brook Bunde (4th at 190), Hailey Ford (5th at 124), Deegan Kirschenman (5th at 130), and Gabby Hannig (6th at 106).

State tournament wrestling begins on Thursday.
