VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Several firefighters were recognized and honored for their years of service and commitment to the Valley City Fire Department on Friday, February 9th.
Scott Cole and Lance Coit received their pins for 35 years of service. Dewey Magnuson for 30 years of service, and Hudson Burkett and Brandon Myers for 10 years of service.
Clyde Bauman, professional musician and entertainer from Strasburg, North Dakota, the creator of the character “Mylo Hatzenbuhler.” The humble farm boy known as the “Strasburg Superstar” was the featured attraction and entertainment during the awards banquet in the Valley City Eagles Club. Mylo delighted the firefighters and their families with his version of old rock songs, so he is a real “Rockstar.”
