JAMESTOWN – In December, Jamestown High Girls Basketball suffered one of its longest nights of the season, losing 75-25 at Minot.  Tuesday, in the return meeting at home, the Blue Jays were better, but the Majelles prevailed again.

Top-ranked Minot defeated Jamestown 81-49 at Jerry Meyer Arena.

Maggie Fricke scored 23 points and LeeLee Bell had 15 for Minot (17-2, 13-0 WDA) in their 10th straight win.

Adisyn Yunck scored 11 with a three-pointer for the Blue Jays (4-13, 1-11).  Mea Ulland scored nine on three three-pointers.  Haley Attleson, Leah Trumbauer and Amelia Newman each scored seven points.  Attleson and Trumbauer also hit threes.

Hannah Attleson had six rebounds for Jamestown.  Yunck had four assists.  Newman and Ulland had two steals each.

Jamestown will play Friday at Bismarck and Saturday at Williston.
