JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Tuesday morning at around 8:45 am, the Jamestown Police School Resource Officer responded to a disturbance in a classroom at Jamestown High School involving an unruly student.

According to school officials, the student had been asked to leave the classroom by staff members due to disruptive behavior but refused to comply. As the situation escalated, the School Resource Officer and school staff attempted to escort the student out of the classroom. However, the student physically resisted, prompting a teacher to promptly call 911 for additional assistance.

Upon arrival, additional officers aided in restraining the student, who continued to resist efforts to remove them from the premises. The altercation ended, with the student being removed from the premises. The officers left the scene at around 9:05 am.

No injuries were reported.
