EDGELEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A driver was injured when her car collided with a semi at the intersection of State Highway 13 and U.S. Highway 281 in Edgeley Monday afternoon.
The State Patrol says the victim ran a stop sign at the intersection and the semi struck her car. The 66-year-old Edgeley woman was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and then transferred to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She’s facing a charge of failing to yield at an intersection marked with a stop sign.
The semi-driver, from South Dakota, was not hurt.
The State Patrol says the roadway was wet and foggy at the time of the crash.
