Oakes, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Oakes Tornadoes Boys Basketball Team beat the Enderlin Eagles in their final home game of the season winning 55-39.

The game started slow for both teams as neither team was able to get too much going as the Tornadoes went 6/15 in the first while Enderlin went 2/11. The Tornadoes did manage an 15-7 lead in the quarter however. The game was even in the 2nd quarter with neither team able to get ahead of the other but Oakes managed to hold the 8 point lead at half leading 29-21.

The 3rd quarter was Oakes dominance as they held the Eagles to one field goal in the entire quarter. They would build a 45-25 lead. They would then finish to game with a 55-39 victory.

The leading scorer all around was Roddek Schmit with 21 going 9/21 on the night and 1/2 from the line. Next was Trey Skoglund who had 12 going 6/9 from the field. Ayden Glarum from Enderlin also had 12 going 4/9 from the field and 2/3 from the line.

The Bank North Player of the Game was Trey Skoglund in his last home game of his high school career.
