SIOUX CITY, IA – 2023 conference tournament champion Midland is the preseason favorite among coaches to win the GPAC Softball Championship.

The Warriors tallied 119 points and nine first-place votes.  Northwestern, last year’s regular season champion, was second with 112 points and the other three first-place votes.  Morningside is third in the poll.

Jamestown is fourth.  The Jimmies were 24-22 and 11-11 in GPAC play last season.  UJ’s 2024 season will begin Tuesday with a doubleheader at Minot State.

On Friday, February 9, Jamestown will host Valley City State and Dickinson State in the first two games of the Nelson Family Dome Tournament.
