VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com, photo courtesy of VCSUVikings.com)  Viking guard Cleveland Bedgood was rewarded with a big weekend with the North Star Athletic Association’s Player of the Week Award.

Bedgood scored 65 points in two games this past weekend, helping the Vikings split the weekend on the road.

At Viterbo, Bedgood scored 46 points in an 87-86 loss.  Saturday, at Waldorf, Bedgood scored 19, including the game-winning layup with 1.9 seconds remaining, to seal the deal in a 76-74 Viking win.

Bedgood leads the Vikings in scoring, minutes played, and foul shooting, currently scoring 17.6 points per game.

The Vikings face Dickinson State Wednesday night, and go to Mayville Friday.
