TOWER CITY, N.D. (NDHP) – 23-year-old Kelly Hanson of Jamestown was seriously injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 94 about 10 miles east of Tower City on Tuesday, January 23rd around 11:56PM.

The Highway Patrol said Hanson was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty west on I-94 when she lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the roadway to the north. The Jeep entered the north ditch and went into a roll. Hanson was ejected while the passenger remained belted in the passenger seat. Hanson sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries. The
passenger 19-year-old Carson Roland of Jamestown sustained minor injuries. Both occupants were transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

Hanson is facing DUI, possession of fentanyl, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under suspension charges.

Roland is facing Possession of drug paraphernalia charges according to the Highway Patrol.
