Larry Schnell Agriculturalist of the Year
FARGO, N.D. (NDSU) – The North Dakota State University Little International Saddle and Sirloin Club social and dinner will be held February 9th at the Avalon Event Center in Fargo.
Larry Schnell of Dickinson, N.D. will be honored as the Agriculturalists of the Year. Schnell was a partner and general manager of Stockmen’s Livestock Exchange, a Livestock Auction Market in Dickinson, North Dakota. Larry and his partner, James Erickson, sold the business to three of their employees in October of 2022. The company markets between 100,000 to 150,000 cattle each year for farmers and ranchers in western North Dakota and eastern Montana.
