KANSAS CITY, MO – University of Jamestown senior women’s wrestler Agatha Andrews has been named as the NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week.

Andrews, who wrestles at 191 pounds, was also named for the KCAC honor after opening her senior season with four pins at the KCAC Duals on January 20 in Crete, Nebraska.

Andrews defeated two NAIA Top 20 opponents, fourth-ranked Lessly Sandoval of Saint Mary and 19th-ranked Shan Briggs of Avila.

Jamestown went 4-1 overall in those duals, is now 8-5 this season, and will meet Sioux Falls Saturday at Century High School in Bismarck.
