VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Schools Superintendent Josh Johnson said with an award of $50,000 from the Medica Foundation (and Essentia Health) for behavioral health services, we are excited to bring magician and speaker, Anthony Grupido to Valley City on February 7-8th.
Anthony’s inspirational message on mental health, resiliency, and suicide prevention is designed for students in grades k-12.  Early next week, a schedule will be released highlighting the dates, times, and locations for the student assemblies and public presentation for parents and the community.
Johnson said we are very grateful to the Medica Foundation and Essentia Health for selecting Valley City Public Schools for this grant award.  We continue to recognize the importance and need to support the mental and behavioral health needs of our students.  We look forward to meeting Anthony and seeing his presentation on The Magic of Hope at Valley City Public Schools.
