OMAHA, NE – Two nights after a big GPAC win, Jamestown Jimmies Women’s Basketball kept their good play going and won with relative ease.
Audrey Rodakowski scored 17 points Friday and Kate Cordes added 15 as the Jimmies scored a season high in points in an 87-52 win over College of St. Mary at the Lied Fitness Center.
Rodakowski also pulled down seven rebounds for UJ (10-8, 6-6 GPAC), who had stopped 20th-ranked Briar Cliff on Wednesday in Sioux City. Cordes also had five rebounds and five assists.
Brenna Stroklund and Samantha Paulsen took advantage of extended playing time with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Stroklund had eight rebounds.
Kia Tower scored only two points, but had a career-high 10 rebounds and six assists.
CSM (1-16, 0-12) was tied early at 6-6 before Jamestown scored nine points in a row and led 21-10 after one quarter, extending the lead to 40-18 at halftime and 70-29 through three quarters.
Jimmies’ starters didn’t play after the third quarter.
