Lori Geist, 47, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Lori was born March 1, 1976, in Medina, ND, the daughter of George and Deb (Carlson) Greshik. She attended school at Wimbledon and graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1994. Lori attended Town and Country Beauty College. In 1998, she went to work at the Vining Truck Stop and later at the Anne Carlson School. She moved to Williston, ND, and studied Nail Tech at Billing, MT. She also studied business at the Williston State College. Lori worked at Bakken Staffing Command Center, managing a temp agency and helping people find jobs. In 2011, she transferred to Bismarck.

She and Dusty Geist were married on July 27, 2013, at the family farm in Wimbledon. They made their home in Bismarck; she retired in 2016 due to her disability.

Lori attended Victory Lutheran Church. She loved helping people and always put others’ needs before her own. Lori enjoyed riding a Harley-Davidson and traveling the countryside with Dusty. She was also known to take in stray dogs and cats and loved animals.

Jamestown, ND; son, Chase Schwan, Bismarck, ND, stepdaughter Calise Geist, Williston, ND; siblings, Paula (Mike) Koch, Cour d’Alene, ID; Amanda (Chris) Hofmann, Spiritwood, ND, Christopher (Nichole) Greshik; several nieces and nephews and special dog, Wrecks.
