JAMESTOWN – GPAC men’s wrestling leader Dakota Wesleyan held off Jamestown 21-15 in a dual Friday at Harold Newman Arena.

DWU (7-3, 4-0 GPAC) decided the dual when 285-pounder Trevion Sample won an 8-1 decision over Jamestown’s Chance Robinson.

Match wins for Jamestown (3-6, 2-3) were by Elijah Barajas on a major decision, Isaiah Miller on a technical fall and decision victories by Degan Linne and Jake Rau.

The Jimmies will next wrestle on Friday, January 19 and Saturday, January 20 at the Missouri Valley College Invitational in Marshall, Missouri.
