BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A western North Dakota prosecutor has agreed to review the results of an outside investigation into cost overruns related to a state-leased building in Bismarck. The building is partly-owned by State Representative Jason Dockter, a Bismarck republican.
Mountrail County State’s Attorney Wade Enget has agreed to handle the review. He’s also expected to look into the deletion of emails following the death of Wayne Stenehjem and Stenehjem’s former deputy attorney general, Troy Seibel, who resigned.
Attorney General Drew Wrigley said Enget was asked to review the report from the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation by Burleigh County State’s Attorney Julie Lawyer. Stenehjem’s former office administrator, Liz Brocker, now works in Lawyer’s office.
