HARVEY, N.D. (NDHP) – A Hazen woman who died in a two vehicle crash has been identified as 78-year-old Susann Traiser.

The Highway Patrol said the driver of the CMV a Kenworth semi Randy Kachan was southbound on Highway 3, heading to Fessenden on Monday, January 8th about 11:52am. The driver of the SUV a Nissan Rogue 78-year-old Susann Traiser was heading eastbound on Highway 19. The driver of the SUV failed to yield for the southbound CMV. The SUV was struck about 17 miles north of Harvey. The driver, Susann Traiser sustained fatal injuries and the female passenger, Marion Uhlich of Drake, N.D. sustained severe injuries. She was was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot, her condition has not been released.
