MEDINA, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Tuesday night, 52-year-old Shad Pederson of Bismarck sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash on westbound I-94, approximately 6 miles west of Medina.
Shortly after 9 pm, the 2018 International truck, driven by the Bismarck resident, was traveling westbound on I-94 when Pederson experienced a medical event, resulting in a loss of control. The semi veered off the roadway, entering the median and colliding with a guardrail. The vehicle eventually came to rest facing southeast in the median.
The Pederson was treated on the scene by emergency responders from Medina Fire and Rescue and Medina Ambulance. The 52-year-old was transported to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for further medical attention.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
