The chamber, in its ongoing effort to acknowledge individuals who consistently prioritize customer satisfaction by surpassing expectations, bestowed the award upon Meza. The nomination process included a heartfelt letter from a satisfied customer who detailed Meza’s outstanding service.
The nomination letter expressed gratitude for Meza’s quick response to a last-minute request for a custom cake on Father’s Day, one of Dairy Queen’s busiest days. The customer, facing a time crunch and an allergy restriction, reached out to Meza through social media. Despite the challenges and high demand, Meza not only committed to fulfilling the order promptly but also managed to exceed expectations by having the cake ready for pickup two hours earlier than anticipated.
“In a pinch when time got away from me, I reached out to Natasha Meza via social media requesting her to make a custom cake for my son’s birthday. Due to an allergy, we were unable to buy one that was premade. It was also on Father’s Day, one of the busiest times of the year for them. Knowing that I was behind on my deadline as it takes a while to set, she asked me when I really needed it by. She told me she would try to have it done the next day and would work on it right away in the morning. Not only was she able to make it happen, but she also had it ready for me to pick up 2 hours before she thought she would have it ready. Exceptional customer service. My poor planning was not her emergency, yet she didn’t skip a beat,” read the nomination letter.
