VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) The top four seeds all advanced to the semi-finals of the 105th Barnes County Boys Basketball Tournament
LaMoure/Litchville-Marion 52, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood 38
Max Musland scored 23 points, with Brayan Karlgaard adding 14 in a win for the top seeded Loboes. Musland added nine rebounds to his day. The Loboes shot 51% in the second half to open the lead.
Levi Kackman led the Warbirds with 17.
May-Port-C-G 68, Maple River 61
Marshall Judisch scored 23 points to lead the Patriots to a win, with Marshall Kloster chipping in 16 and Ryder Fugleberg knocking in 15.
Tee Sylling scored a game high 25 for the Raiders, with Blake Theuer scoring another 20 in the loss.
Richland 62, Enderlin 31
Nick Kjoness was 12-15 from the field and tallied 24 points for the Colts, the two-seed in the tournament. Casyn Syvertson scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds.
Karson Gruba led the Eagles with 12 points. Enderlin was forced into 31 turnovers in the loss.
Barnes County North 75, Valley City JV 53
Will Schwehr was one of four Bison in double figures, leading the three-seed with 24 points and nine rebounds in the win. Oliver Hanson scored 17, Jonah Harstad added 11, and Justin Schlenker knocked in 10.
Miken Mattson scored 16 to lead the Hi-Liner JV. Adon Berntson scored 11, and Finn Docktor added 10.
Today, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood faces Maple River at 3:00 PM, with Enderlin and the Hi-Liner JV to follow. Semifinal action starts at 6:00 PM with LaMoure/Litchville-Marion facing May-Port-C-G, and Richland and Barnes County North wrapping up the tournament.
