ELLENDALE, N.D. (NDHP) – A 69-year-old Ellendale man died of injuries suffered in a rollover crash on Thursday, January 4th about six miles southwest of Ellendale abour 1:AM.

The Highway Patrol said the man was driving a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 traveling south on 85th Ave SE. The Dodge left the south roadway and entered the west ditch. The vehicle rolled as it entered the ditch partially ejecting the driver who was not wearing his seat belt.

The Dodge was observed in the ditch at approximately 7:00 AM on January 4th, 2024. It is suspected the crash occurred around 1:00 AM on January 4th. The driver of the Dodge sustained fatal injuries from the crash. This crash
remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The name of the driver will be released on January 5th, 2024, after family of the deceased have been properly notified of the crash.
