VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Police Officers and other first responders, responded to a medical call on Friday, December 29th. According to the report, Narcan was administered to one individual as a precaution at a residence in Valley City.

Meanwhile, Police Chief Nick Horner said on Sunday, December 31st Police Officers responded to a call of a male making suicidal comments. He said additional information was given to officers that the man was in possession of a firearm. The male and his vehicle were located in the 1000 block of Viking Dr. SW. The man was contacted, and the firearm was secured. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment without further incident.
