Bismarck Century kept Jamestown off the scoreboard for the second time this season as the Patriots picked up a 5-0 win and completed the season sweep on Tuesday night in girls hockey action at Wilson Arena.

Junior Avery Matt achieved a hat trick with her 14th, 15th and 16th goals of the season as Century outshot the Jays 34-19 and Junior Kambree Grabar came away with her second shut out against Jamestown this season.

Blue Jay senior goalie Olivia Sorlie made 29 saves.

Jamestown slips to 4-6 on the season and next up is a home game with Mandan on Thursday at Wilson Arena with coverage at around 6:45 PM on the Voice of the Blue Jays, Jamestown 107.1.

The Blue Jay boys also suffered a defeat on Tuesday night at first place Bismarck Legacy 4-2.

The two teams were tied 1-1 after one but the Sabers rattled off three goals in the second to take a 4-1 lead. A goal late in period two by Jamestown cut it down to 4-2. Neither team scored in the third.

Juniors Jackson Maddock and Vaughn Romsdal had the goals for the Jays.

Next up for the 3-5 Blue Jays is a home game with Bottineau/Rugby on Friday night at Wilson Arena.  Coverage will begin at around 7:15 on Jamestown 107.1.
