BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Nearly 500 rural cooperative customers remain without power following the December 25th through December 27th ice storm that hit the region and knocked down hundreds of power lines during and following the storm.

Barnes County commission declared a Winter Storm Emergency to help replace and repair infrastructure damaged by the storm. More details about that will be released later.
