VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner girls basketball team made it a clean sweep of the VC Shootout Saturday.

Tesa Olson scored 15 points in a 64-49 win over Killdeer at the Hi-Liner Activity Center, running their season record to 6-1.

Valley City notched wins over Turtle Mountain and Four Winds preceding their win over the Cowgirls Saturday.

Olson was selected Ivy Real Estate Group Player of the Game.  Katie Burchill and Dacota Potratz each added 14 in the win.

The Hi-Liners face Carrington next week.

Shiloh Christian topped Valley City in boys action in the later game, scoring an 81-63 win over the Hi-Liners, sending the Hi-Liners to a split on two games of the event.

Zach Sykora scored 18 to lead Valley City and secure Ivy Real Estate honors.  Carver Pederson tossed in 14, and Carson Eggert added 13.

The Hi-Liners are now 1-4, and face Lisbon Tuesday.
