Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—–The Stanley Blue Jays held Carrington to 11 first half points and cruised to a 34-11 halftime lead. The Blue Jays added a 19-9 third quarter advantage that resulted in a running clock in the final quarter with a 53-20 lead after 3 quarters. Drake Schlosser scored a game high 14 points for Stanley. Josh Hetzel added 13 points, Bennett Larson 12 points and Trustan Barstad added 9 points to aid the Stanley win. Grady Shipman and Owen Hagel paced the Cardinals with 9 points each, all 9 of Hagels points came on 3 made three pointers. The Blue Jays forced 22 Carrington turnovers. Stanley improved to 4-1 overall and Carrington dropped to 0-6 overall. The Cardinals will host New Rockford-Sheyenne next Thursday night with coverage starting at 7:15 on AM 1600 KDAK (THE CARDINAL), FM 100.1, and www.newsdakota.com
