MINTO, N.D. (NDHP) – 61-year-old Mario Diaz of Hoople, North Dakota died in a single vehicle crash on Saturday, December 23rd about 8 o’clock Saturday night.  Vehicle No. 1: 2019 Peterbilt pulling a coal trailer

The Highway Patrol said Diaz was driving a 2019 Peterbilt eastbound on Walsh County Road 19 coming from Ardoch
heading to Drayton with a load of coal. The Diaz did not negotiate the curve south, went off into the ditch and rolled. Dense fog and wet road conditions may have been a factor in the rollover. The crash remains under investigation.

Other agencies involved included the Oslo Fire Department, Minto Ambulance, Walsh County Sheriff’s Office, Valley
Ambulance, and North Dakota Highway Patrol.
