VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jefferson Elementary School PTO has a fundraising effort underway to improve the landscape of the playground area at the school.

Jefferson Elementary school PTO spokeswoman Natasha Howard talked about the focus of the project.

She said donations have nearly reached the half-way point for their $300,000 dollar goal.

Howard said the plan is it to let bids for the project in the spring with a groundbreaking tentatively set for June of 2024.
