JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – In an ambitious endeavor, Jamestown resident Christian Cairy is spearheading a grassroots campaign to secure a spot on North Dakota’s 2024 ballot for Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., who is running as an independent candidate.

As of now, Cairy stands as the sole volunteer championing Kennedy’s cause in the state, illustrating a determined commitment to bringing a fresh political perspective to North Dakota. Kennedy, a prominent figure, has chosen to run independently, seeking a unique approach to address the state’s concerns.

The process officially kicks off on January 1, 2024, when the state opens up for the collection of signatures. Cairy and his team aim to gather a formidable 4,000 signatures by September 1, 2024, to ensure Kennedy’s inclusion on the state’s ballot.

Cairy said the main thing that drew him to Kennedy was his focus on the middle class, and the ending of funding foreign wars.

The journey to secure signatures is no small feat, but Cairy remains optimistic about the support they can garner from fellow residents. With the campaign set to launch at the beginning of the new year, Cairy encourages North Dakotans to participate actively in the democratic process.

Kennedy’s decision to run independently reflects a desire to offer alternative perspectives and solutions to the state’s challenges. As the sole volunteer in North Dakota, Cairy shoulders the responsibility of kickstarting the momentum needed for a successful ballot inclusion.

Come January 1, 2024, the race for signatures begins, marking the initial steps in a grassroots movement to shape the ballot and broaden the choices available to North Dakota voters in the upcoming election.
