VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Barnes County Food Pantry collected names for Christmas Food Boxes earlier this month and now those boxes will be delivered to worthy families on December 20th.

Director Pat Hansen wanted to thank the Barnes County Salvation Army for their generous contribution of food to the Christmas Food Box program.

Hansen said the annual cost of this program is between $10,000 to $15,000, so your monetary and food donations for the Christmas Food Boxes are greatly appreciated.

Members with the Valley City Fire Department helped fill the Christmas Food Boxes on December 19th. Thanks to all who help make this program special for so many families in our area.
