VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner wresting team finished the weekend with a dual win in four tries at the Grand Forks Sertoma Wrestling Tournament.

The Hi-Liners lone win came in the second round of wrestling.  They defeated Turtle Mountain Community High School (Belcourt) 45-28.  The Hi-Liners were beaten in the opening round by Perham 59-7.

Valley City dropped a 45-27 decision to Breckenridge-Wahpeton 45-27, and then lost a 38-33 dual to Grand Forks Central.

Ryder Muske (172) and Ethan Miller (189) picked up wins in the dual against Perham.  Miller picked up another win over TMCHS, along with Koltyn Grebel (133), Jayden Suhr (139), Carter Jewett (160), Dylan Hunt (215), and several forfeits.

Muske, Miller, Hunt, Grebel, and Suhr picked up wins against Grand Forks Central, along with Tyson Klabo (145).  No results were available in the matchup with Breckenridge-Wahpeton.

Valley City’s next action will be at home this weekend in their home invitational tournament.
