JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Wilson Arena was the sight of West Region boys hockey Thursday night between Jamestown and Bismarck as the Blue Jays were looking for their first home win of the season.

The Jays struck for a goal 25 seconds into the game courtesy of Junior Grant Lunde, his first of the season, and Jamestown never looked back in a 4-2 victory.

The score sheet was balanced as four different Blue Jays scored goals. Sophomore John Belzer netted his third, Sophomore Kaleb McClaflin rifled in his first of the season and Junior Jackson Maddock smacked in his third of the year.

Senior goalie Louis Kjellberg made 30 saves as Jamestown improved to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in West Region play. Bismarck fell to 0-6 on the season.

Next up for the Jays is a trip to Williston on Saturday, December 9th to battle the Coyotes.
