JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Hosted West Fargo United in high school girls hockey Tuesday night at Wilson Arena and it took overtime to determine the outcome.
Sophomore Reaghen Mathias scored her second goal of the game with 2:29 remaining in the extra session to give WF United the win 3-2.
Blue Jay Junior Ellie Krueger scored her third of the season and she dished out an assist. Jamestown Senior Arya Mickelson forced overtime with her second goal of the season midway through period three.
Jays Senior Hannah Soulis chipped in with two assists.
Blue Jay Senior goalie Olivia Sorlie was again solid in the net with 32 saves as United outshot the Jays 35-27.
Jamestown slips to 1-3 on the season and next up will travel out West for a pair of games with a trip to Minot on Friday, December 8th and Williston on Saturday, December 9th.
