Announced on National Rural Health Day, celebrated annually on the third Thursday of November, these awards recognize JRMC’s outstanding performance in the top quartile for both quality and patient perspective among rural hospitals. National Rural Health Day aims to highlight the impactful work undertaken in rural communities concerning health-related issues.

The Performance Leadership Awards utilize the iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX, an industry-leading, comprehensive assessment of rural hospital performance. This INDEX is a trusted resource nationwide, offering insights into rural health trends and guiding strategic decision-making for rural hospitals, health systems, and policymakers.

Recipients of these awards are determined based on excellence across various metrics, including inpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspectives, costs, and charges. JRMC was specifically acknowledged for its top-tier performance in inpatient quality measures and patient satisfaction scores.
