JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/DFS) – Jamestown Dollars for Scholars has announced a new scholarship opportunity provided by Inspired Healthcare. This scholarship, set to be awarded in the upcoming spring, is designated for a graduating student from either Jamestown High School or the Jamestown-BJA (formerly Jamestown North) senior class.

The Inspired Healthcare Scholarship will grant $1,000 to a student pursuing post-secondary education in healthcare fields such as nursing, psychiatry, psychology, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant.

Becky Kuss, the owner of Inspired Healthcare, expressed her anticipation for offering this financial award. She stated, “I look forward to providing this financial award to assist a young man or woman aspiring to join us in these healthcare fields. The demand for practitioners in these careers will continue to be high. My goal is to contribute to making post-secondary education more attainable for students, and I am passionate about giving back.”

Founded in 2020 by Becky and Perry Kuss, Inspired Healthcare specializes in psychiatric medication management and supportive therapy. Their expertise spans various areas, including major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, insomnia, and more. Notably, they have recently expanded their services to include substance and addiction counseling with a licensed addiction counselor.

Sally Ost, a board member of Jamestown Dollars for Scholars, accepted the donation on their behalf. She emphasized Inspired Healthcare’s dedication to supporting the local community and investing in the future of its youth. Ost commended the scholarship as a testament to this commitment, stating that it will assist a deserving student in achieving their dream of higher education.
