VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Bank Forward’s “Forward Foundation” online auction is underway and a sample of some items on the auction is available in our photos below.
The auction raises money to help enhance the lives of children in surrounding communities that Bank Forward serves.
In the past year, funding was used to provide over 1,000 Holiday dinners to low income children and their families. They support initiatives to prevent child abuse. The auction also helps reduce the financial burden of medical bills incurred by a sick child in our area. And also contributed to youth programs providing after school art and tutoring programs.
Spokeswoman Mariah Tofsrud talked about the mission of the online auction in this interview with Steve Urness.
The online auction raised more than $52,000 back in 2021.
