VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Show your support for ending domestic violence during the Brewing Up a Safe Community event October 30th in the Valley City Eagles Club

Co-event coordinator Kristen Petersen said funds raised from the event will benefit the mission of our Green Dot organization.

Co-event coordinator Naomi Koch talked about some of the programs they have to help reduce domestic violence locally.

Co-event coordinator Joshua Gow said it’s takes a community effort to raise awareness of domestic violence.

The Brewing Up a Safe Community will include a free-will spaghetti supper, face painting, costume contests, games, trunk or treat, and door prizes. The event is sponsored by the APOC, Green Dot and CHI Mercy Health/CommonSpirit on October 30th from 5pm to 7pm in the Valley City Eagles Club.
