MONANGO, N.D. (NDHP) – 18-year-old Boston Hagen of Fullerton, ND is dead following a two vehicle crash on Wednesday, October 18th at the intersection of Dickey County 3 and 89th Avenue Southeast about 4 miles southeast of Monango.

According to the Highway Patrol a Freightliner-semi truck driven by 61-year-old James Dymond was traveling eastbound on Dickey County Hwy 3 while Hagen driving a Hyundai was traveling south on 89th Ave SE. Hagen failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Dickey County 3 and 89th Ave SE, entering the intersection. The Freightliner-semi truck collided with the Hyundai in a T-bone collision. The semi-truck and the Hyundai entered the south ditch of Dickey County Hwy 3. The driver of the Hyundai Hagen died as result of injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the semi-truck, James Dymond from Manitou, Manitoba was not injured in the crash.
