Jamestown just a week ago was faced with their first loss of the season 3-2 vs Legacy High School. A week later they have swept Watford City, Williston, and now Bismarck St. Mary’s.
They are now 23-5 overall and 14-1 in conference play. Coach Hegerle said about the win tonight – “We haven’t had a match that we have just taken care of business and just dominated, so I said before (the match), tonight’s the night to really get after it. Set the tone for what we want tomorrow not that we are looking ahead but at the same time we need some momentum, and we haven’t played with a lot of confidence and have been on the road a lot. This was a great moment for us to go into tomorrow with confidence against a great team”.
Coach Hegerle emphasized it’s not all about the wins and losses, but it certainly does help and feel good to win.
The Blue Jays will be back in action tomorrow night on the road at Bismarck Century High School with the match set for 7 p.m. Jamestown will be back at home Thursday October 26th vs Dickinson with the match set for 7 p.m. as well.
