VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On October 7, 2023, the Valley City Police Department asked for assistance from the public in identifying a suspect who was at the Grand Stay Inn, of Valley City and fled from law enforcement in a stolen vehicle.

The suspect, Dexter Ramondo Jefferson Jr. was located in Stark County N.D. on October 10, 2023, fled from law enforcement there, and was apprehended. The suspect is in the Stark County jail in Dickinson, N.D.

Charges are pending in Stark and Barnes Counties stemming from these incidents.
