VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Public Works recognized for hosting Veteran’s Park Lighting Ceremony. The crew was recently recognized during the 2023 Technology Days, a two-day event hosted by Sioux Falls-based Missouri River Energy Services (MRES.)

The utility earned a WattSTAR Award for hosting the Veteran’s Park Lighting Ceremony during an awards
ceremony held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on September 27th.

The 2022-2023 WattSTAR Awards are given to MRES member communities who go above and beyond in their communities. Participating utilities can nominate in these categories: Extraordinary Event, Utilities Making a Difference, Social Media Gurus, Innovative Utilities and Utilities That Never Stop.
