Bob Nelson & Peggy Drabus

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Veterans Service Office would like to announce Bob Nelson and
Peggy Drabus as the new Veteran Service Office Van Drivers. Nelson grew up in Seattle, WA and Oriska, ND. Nelson then moved to Tower City, ND after serving on active duty in the Air Force.

Nelson was previously employed by the Barnes County Courthouse as part of the Maintenance crew for 30 years. Nelson also has a construction company on the side. He likes to spend time with family and friends camping. Nelson always has a “yard full” of animals for 4-H projects. He is married to Virginia Nelson, they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.

Drabus grew up in Valley City and moved to rural Barnes County after serving on active duty in the Air Force.
Drabus also is employed at Fingal District No. 54 since 2019, helping in wholesale production, customer service and hosting community events. Drabus enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves to travel, read, paint, watch movies and spend time in the sunshine every chance possible.
