Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-Carrington defeated Benson County 3-0 (25-16, 25-10, 25-8) and finished the match with 15 service aces paced by senior setter Kacie Rexin’s match high 9 aces. The Cardinals recorded 31 kills to the Wildcats 16. Isabel Wendel led the Cards with a match high 9 kills and Madison Johnson added 7 kills. Harper Kollman (5 kills) and Sydney Friedt (4 kills) aided the Cardinals offensive attack. Benson County was paced by Aubrey Kenner with 6 kills and 5 kills for Isabella Engstrom.

Carrington improved to 8-4 overall and Benson County dropped to 5-7-1. The Cards with compete this weekend at the Laker Invite in Burlington and Minot and will be at Barnes County North next Tuesday night which will be aired on AM 1600 KDAK (THE CARDINAL), FM 100.1, and newsdakota.com
