Hi-Liners head coach Matt Neilson shared his thoughts on the close contest. “Kellen and Colin earned their first win together in doubles and Colin’s first varsity victory on the season. They both stayed positive and confident throughout the match which lead to a high level of tennis. Quin and Emery continue to learn and grow every time they on the court. Today, I watched Quin from two courts down. Every time I saw something he could be doing differently, he had it fixed on the next point. He is thinking through how to play and then executing on his own.”

“The loss guarantees us to be the number 10 seed regardless of match against Grand Forks Central on Thursday.  That means we will have an away play-in match on Monday against the number 7 seed.  We will have to wait until all matches are played on Thursday to see who that will be.”
