VALLEY CITY, ND  (Submitted) Hi-Liner Cross Country team traveled to Casselton on Tuesday for a meet at Cottonwood Golf Course. Four girls placed in the top 20 of the girls varsity 5K. Reagan Berg 1^st, Greta Goven 3^rd, Cadence Fetsch 9^th and Tricia Pfennig 18^th. The girls team won the meet. On the boys side, seventh grader, Simon Trapp was the Hi-Liner’s top Varsity Boys 5K runner at 23^rd place out of 145 runners. In the Boys JV 3K race, seventh grader Brycen Berg placed 16^th.

Next meet for the Hi-Liners is Saturday, September 23^rd when Valley City hosts the annual Blue & White meet a Bjornson Golf Course. The meet starts at 10:30 with the elementary race.  At 11:00 am the JV Girls 4K will run, followed by the JV Boys 4K, Varsity 5K Girls, and the Varsity 5K Boys.
