LAMOURE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Carrington won sets one, three and five to defeat the Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville/Marion Tuesday night in five sets (25-20, 18-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-8). Carrington is now 1-1 in District 5 and 5-5 overall, LLM drops to 2-1 in D5 and 13-5 overall.

The first set was back and forth, eight ties and close throughout until Carrington outscored the Loboes 8-1 down the stretch to win the set by five points. In set two, the Loboes cruised to the set  victory leading at one point 20-10. The Cardinals led most of the way in set three, in set four, the Loboes went to extras to win it and send it to a fifth and final set. The Cardinals led the entire fifth set and pick up the important district victory.

Next up for Carrington will be on Tuesday, September 26th at D5 Ellendale, KDAK 1600/100.1 and newsdakota.com will have the match starting about 7pm.
