JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the Loyal to Local Holiday Passport Program this winter. This program is created to bolster local spending throughout the festive season. It presents a unique opportunity for participants to engage with the community by committing to spend $250 or more at local businesses that are part of the program, all while standing a chance to win exciting prizes generously contributed by our local business partners.

Emily Bivens, the Chamber’s Executive Director, stated, “Loyal to Local has achieved remarkable success for our valued participating businesses. We have observed firsthand the tangible economic benefits reaped at each tier of involvement. Whether businesses opt to secure an advertisement slot in the passport, extend their support through prize donations, or actively participate as merchants, every dollar spent within our local community contributes significantly to ensuring a vibrant and prosperous holiday shopping experience on multiple fronts.”

Notably, the second annual Loyal to Local program impressively recorded an expenditure of over $140,000 within our local economy, further highlighting its effectiveness in championing local commerce.

Currently, the Chamber of Commerce is actively seeking businesses to get involved with the program. Businesses are invited to consider becoming merchants, contributing prizes, or featuring their advertisements within the program booklet. Over 3,000 booklets will be printed and made available for distribution, offering participating businesses recognition on both social media and the Chamber’s official communication channels.

The Loyal to Local program is scheduled to start on November 25th, 2023, and run until January 5th, 2024.
