JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Friday evening at 8 pm the Jamestown Fire Department was called out to the Days Inn at 820 20th St. SW to investigate a report of smoke coming out of the roof.

According to Lt. Sheldon Mohr, fire crews found the insulation smoldering upon arrival.

Mohr said it appears the cause is electrical. There was no one injured.

Crews were on the scene for about an hour.
