VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Reagan Berg is within a few ticks of breaking 19 minutes.

Berg set a new personal record, running 19:08 to win the event Monday at Bluestem in Moorhead.

Valley City placed three girls runners in the top 10.  Greta Goven ran fourth at 20:46, and Brynn Lueck was 10th at 21:24.

Corban Golovanoff again led the boys, running 8th at 18:03.  Simon Trap ran 20:12, a new personal record.

Valley City runs at McDowell Dam near Bismarck Saturday.
