LaMoure, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The LaMoure-Litchville/Marion Loboes were able to beat the Tornadoes in straight sets on Tuesday September 7th. The set scores were 26-24, 25-16, and 28-26.

The match started with tie game after tie game for the most of the set. No one was truly able to pull away. The set ended as it started with long volleys by both teams and the Loboes were able to do just enough to pull away to win 26-24.

Set 2 was all Loboes as they were able to make several big runs. After the  Tornadoes brought it back to 16-13 the Loboes went on a 9-3 run to end the set and take a commanding 2-0 set lead. The score was 25-16.

Set 3 was almost a repeat of set 1 with neither team able to pull far away. Each team was able to have at least 1 set/match point at the end with neither team giving up the fight. LaMoure-LM would eventually take the set and the match after another extremely long volley winning 28-26.

The Bank North Players of the Game were Bailie Kelley from LaMoure-LM and Brianna Schmitz from Oakes.

Next up for both teams is the Volley in the Valley Tournament.
